Amazon has announced that it will release the Echo at a later date, but you can start preordering now.
The price of the Echo smart speakers is $129 and will be available starting August 15.
Amazon says the Echo will go on sale in the U.S. on August 28th.

Amazon Echo Series 2 and Series 3 products are expected to arrive in early September, and those will be the only two products to be available for preorder.
