In an effort to reduce their inventory costs, home furniture stores are seeing fewer used items, but they are also seeing higher prices for the items they do have.

In the first three months of 2018, they were selling used furniture at a lower rate than they were in the same period last year.

While many of the top used furniture retailers are now looking to reduce the number of used items they carry, they are not going to eliminate them entirely, according a survey by Realestate Weekly.

According to Rottland, the problem with that is that there are many people who have lost their jobs and therefore can’t afford to buy used furniture, so the retailers will have to offer them lower prices. 

And because there is no shortage of used and refurbished furniture in the marketplace, there is also less demand for it. 

Still, Sturgesses hopes that the overall trend toward reduced used furniture will continue and that the industry will continue growing in the future.
