Ashley Furnisher has opened a New York City store to sell the iconic Tiffany and Co. house furnishings.
The New York-based company opened its first store in Brooklyn in March and has plans to open another in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
Tiffany and Co., which has sold jewelry, furniture and more than 1,000 items for more than a century, is opening its doors in New York on Dec. 16 and the company said the new store is the first in the country to offer Tiffany and Company products for sale.
“I’m honored to be able to be the first to offer the Tiffany and co. brand to the New York market,” Tiffany and Cos.
CEO Michael W. Jacobs said in a statement.
“I want to thank the New Yorkers who made the store possible.
We are grateful to our partners and customers for making this happen.”
The new store will open at the former Tiffany and Sons store at 17 Broadway, which has been closed for a year.
The Tiffany and Associates store on West 56th Street will be closed for at least a year after an internal investigation into the sale of the jewelry brand.
The New York State Department of Financial Services has also closed down the company’s New York branch.
The agency also ordered Tiffany and Companies to pay $500,000 in penalties.TIFFANY AND CO. will also offer $1,000 gift cards for gift card purchases made online and gift cards to be mailed to customers on Jan. 7.

store will be located at 13 West 56 Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
It will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
